Joining the growing list of SAGLers is one of my favourite British actors, David Thewlis. As he reaches a glorious career 100 of films, he remembers winning at Cannes with Naked and talks about his latest film, Guest of Honour, playing a restaurant inspector, for Canada's Atom Egoyan.
David's been enjoying Peep Show - late to the party on that one - Normal People and can't wait to tell all about the novel he's just finished.
Jazz pianist Ashley Henry delivered one of the best albums of 2019 with Beautiful Vinyl Hunter. Now he's playing the Royal Albert Hall - from his own home, to yours, via Royal Albert Home. He tells me about re-arranging the album for solo piano, his south London influences, his Dad's Earth, Wind and Fire albums, and his love of art galleries.
