In this Ep- Annie tells Yvie all about the OG Mary Seacole, a British-Jamaican woman who was turned away time after time for offering her ‘Doctress’ services during the Crimean War. Mary takes matters into her own hands and builds her own hospital to nurse and assist the wounded during the war. Our Chicks in the Now this week are all of the women in Texas who are being denied the right to make decisions for their own bodies under new state laws.
