With the great Colon Nuñez and then Pato Rodriguez at his side he won 8 tour titles and in 1989 got to 18 in the world. </p><p><br></p><p>It was at The <a href=\"usopen.org\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">US Open </a>where he had his greatest success.
