Dr. Faheem Ahmed OA (2003-10) joins us today to talk about his work with COVID-19 focusing on how COVID-19 is exacerbating social inequality around the world, especially among those with low incomes and black and ethnic minority communities.
Faheem has a medical degree from King’s College London and a master’s degree in health systems management from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Faheem was just putting the finishing touches on his MBA, at Columbia Business School, as COVID-19 began to spread, he relocated to his home in London to complete his degree remotely and work on the frontline of the crisis.
