Ponchâteau is a commune in the west of France, located in the Pays de la Loire region. It counts today approximately 11000 inhabitants. The regional council of the Pays de la Loire region is carrying out a major project for a new multi-purpose high school in this town. The new building is made of wood and includes a bioclimatic hall, classrooms, multi-purpose rooms, a documentation center, administrative offices, an industrial center, a dining center and a boarding school. The ARS Architectes Rocheteau Saillard agency won the competition. The project under construction will be delivered in 2023.
