A long time ago in galaxy far, far away I used to be the furthest left it's possible to be politically. I still think left wing thought has a lot to offer, but like vast swathes of the country and the western world I also find so much of progressive discourse (some of which has seeped into mainstream 'liberal' politics more broadly) very annoying, irrational, and worse. That's this week's topic.
