It's just as plain as what Jesus says. You are the light of the world and you are the salt of the earth, the salt and light.The metaphors that Jesus use are very distinct. Salt speaks about who we are, our distinctive, our character. We add flavor to the world. Light speaks about our destiny, our influence, and how we impact the world.
