Management experts from McGill University will join me to analyze popular films and share the lessons that lie within them. On the marquee today: The Big Short (2015).

The film depicts the lead-up to the financial crisis of 2008. It follows three protagonists as they bet against the housing market to make a profit. How did they see the collapse coming, while others did not? Could the collapse have been avoided with different incentive structures? And in a story about profit and risky investments, are there any true heroes?

Joining us to discuss the film is Levi Olando, a former fraud investigator and a current PhD student at McGill University. Eric Dicaire, Delve's managing editor, hosts this episode.

What did you think of this episode? Let us know!
