He is a practitioner of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA), and his love of history has helped to inspire the books that he writes. His latest book, <em>Daughter of Redwinter</em>, is out next week (30 June 2022).</p><p><br></p><p>We had a great chat with Ed about how he broke into writing (including rewriting a whole chunk of his debut over a weekend before his agent sent it to publishers), talking about planning vs pantsing, and hearing about his brilliant new novel, <em>Daughter of Redwinter</em>.
