We're Ashli and Adam: two philosophy graduate students and parents in the Midwest. If you're an academic or a parent (or both!), you've probably heard lots of criticism about timing, career planning, and trying to explain to your family what you're doing! Being a graduate student is hard and being a parent is too (or so we hear) and we want to create a place where parents and graduate students (or adjuncts, or early career academics, or contingent instructors....) can support and learn from one another.
Our goal with this podcast is to explore the intersecting and disruptive combination of philosophy, academia, and parenting. We hope that you'll join us!
