While medicine certainly has its place, so much of the chronic disease we face is directly related to lifestyle. We constantly counsel patients on the incredible impact of better sleep, increased exercise, and a healthy diet, only to have them ask at the end of the visit, \"So, what are you going to prescribe me?\"

Later in the show, I am joined by my good high school friend from Long Island, David Goldberg. While David isn't in the medical field, he is incredibly well-read and brings a great perspective as we discuss a recent Wall Street Journal article exploring the potential health benefits of a four-day work week, along with other everyday strategies for overall wellness. Ultimately, the most important message we want you to take away today is that you, the consumer, have control over your own destiny when it comes to your health and wellness.

Before we get started, please make sure to follow us on social media and share this episode with anyone who might benefit from it. Let's jump in!
","author_name":"Dr Joe Galati"}
