On Creature Comforts, Kevin Farrell is joined by Dr. Troy Majure, veterinarian at the Animal Medical Center in Jackson and Libby Hartfield retired director of the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science.
Mississippi is home to many different types of animals, some that fly, some that swim, and some that creep along the ground. Those “creeping animals,” or reptiles and amphibians, are the subject for today’s show. We are joined by Conservation biologist and Herpetologist at the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, Emily Field. She’ll tell us about the creeping creatures that call Mississippi home, and her special interest in the elusive Hellbender.
