To resolve the problem, dealers will replace the brake-pedal bumper and clutch-pedal bumper for free. Owners will be notified starting March 3. Those with further questions can call the automaker at 866-436-7332 (Ford’s number for this recall is 22S02), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236.</li></ul><p>You can find out if your car has a past recall by going to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website: <a href=\"https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls</a> and inputting your VIN number. But modern navigation software simply doesn’t take no for an answer, and so Google Maps — among other navigation companies — has sent drivers down sketchy, dangerous paths to reach their intended destinations.
