We’ll be deciding who Mississippi and your neighborhood sends to Washington to represent our interests and our beliefs. You also have a voice in judges in Mississippi and possibly other important special elections for your area. </p><p>Today and tomorrow: Circuit Clerks’ offices MAY remain open from 8:00 a.m. until 7 p.m., including the noon hour. Saturday, October 3rd 2026: Circuit Clerks’ offices MUST remain open from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Monday, October 5th is the Voter Registration Deadline: Applicants who register in-person in the Circuit Clerk’s office or Municipal Clerk’s office, and those who mail registration applications post-marked no later than the 5th are eligible to vote in the General Election. </p><p><a href=\"https://www.sos.ms.gov/yall-vote\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Yall vote . ms </a>is an easy to remember website of the Secretary of State’s office with additional information or if you want to fact check me!</p><p><br></p><p>The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that a group of Jackson plaintiffs do not have a right to uncontaminated drinking water, nor to honest information about it from public officials.
