Born in Ecuador in 1999, before testing his ability in the US where he settled in Miami. He competed and won 2013 Rotax National Championship and become Rotax Junior World Champion in karts. He was scouted and recruited by the Lotus F1 Team on their Junior Programme and moved to Europe to pursue his dream, aged just 14. He went on to take part in F3 and F2 before a cruel accident changed the course of his life and career, however, he’s back doing what he does best and making his mark, once again, on the motorsport world.
