The story of the Amityville house did not stop with the DeFeo’s. In December of 1975 the Lutz family moved into their dream house. Not only was it their dream home the got it and much of the DeFoe’s Belongings at a steal. Twenty-eight days later the family would flee in terror form the house never to return to it. This is where the the story goes from true crime to paranormal.

On March 6th, 1976 an Anchorman from Channel 5 News named Marvin Scott along with Ed and Lorian Warren proceeded to do an investigation of 112 Ocean Ave. The investigation yielded some interesting finds.
