‘It’s official, old buddy. I’m a has-been.’ Is Hollywood ten dode opgeschreven? Zo ja, dan kunnen we daar altijd weer een film over maken. In onze nieuwe podcast duiken Erik, Jesse en Lauren in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood, en in het bewogen jaar 1969. Het jaar van de maanlanding, het jaar van Woodstock en het jaar waarin de enge hippies van Charles Manson aan het moorden sloegen in de Hollywood Hills.
Tarantino brengt het einde van de jaren zestig en het einde van het klassieke Hollywood studiosysteem tot leven zoals alleen hij dat kan, tjokvol nerdy referenties en coole muziek. We hebben het over de feiten en de onzin. Over het zalige geouwehoer en het bloederige geweld. En over de bromance tussen Leo en Brad.
