In the last podcast episode of this year I talk with Tarus and Yolanda, the owners of The Nelson Manor. This boutique luxury vacation rental is located in the Washington DC region and consists of three rental options:
*The Annapolis Apartment, a one bedroom unit in the basement
*The Maryland House, a five bed two bath luxury home
*The Nelson Manor which consists of The Annapolis Apartment and The Maryland House
Yolanda and Tarus used Lodgify to create their own vacation rental website. Their goal is to attract more direct bookings and not be dependent on third party sites such as Airbnb.
In order to grow their customer base, Tarus and Yolanda collect email addresses from their guests and send out regular promotional offers and updates on their property and events.
They use Facebook and Instagram to connect with their clients and to spread the word about their business.
