The Montreal comedy podcast Go Plug Yourself asks Sara Maleika & Andrina Learmonth from LadyFest: Who is your favorite Habs player of all time? That question asked back in episode 344 by Daniel Seligman from POP Montreal.
Hey Montreal, it’s that time of year again! LadyFest returns to Montreal for more or less the 10th Anniversary of LadyFest! As always LadyFest is dedicated to supporting and inspiring women performing comedy in Montreal! Sara Meleika and Andrina Learmonth join Walter and I at the back of a bustling Grumpy’s to talk about the festival, going to comedy shows and so much more. LadyFest runs from November 15th to the 18th, for more information check out the LadyFestMTL pages on Facebook and Instagram.
We talk about reality television, genres in comedy, going to comedy shows and how AI is probably one of the worst things we will witness our lifetimes. Fun! Of course we also talk about all the great shows that will be part of Ladyfest 2026 featuring talented comedians from all over the place. The whole thing kicks off on November 15th at Kawalees for LADYFEST Presents: A Variety 5 a 7 featuring acts from Montreal, Boston, Ottawa & Toronto! Definitely one of the best things you can do with your time in November, just saying.
Enjoy the show, enjoy Ladyfest and Go Plug Yourself!
As always, a big thank you to the providers of our theme song: Leighland Beckman and Aural Turpitude!
