When another person wants to define your reality for you--tell you what you want, think, need, feel, remember, that's gaslighting. They want to be in <strong>control of your experiences and responses in life</strong>, and that is taking away a basic right you have!</p><p><br></p><p>Oxford dictionary:</p><p><strong>Verify</strong>: to make sure or demonstrate that something is true, accurate, justified</p><p><strong>Validate:</strong> to recognize or affirm the worth of a person or their feelings or opinions; cause a person to feel valued or worthwhile</p><p><br></p><p>Big difference!
