He spent 16 seasons in the NFL as an offensive lineman with the Jets, Titans, and Seahawks. Seattle drafted him in the second round in 1994 after a great career at LSU. He was an eight-time All-Pro center and retired after the 2009 season. After spending time as an assistant coach with the Bears, he is now an offensive analyst at Arizona State along with Herm Edwards, who was his coach when playing for the Jets.
