But it wasn't until I started doing my homework for this interview and met Claudia in her beautiful and charismatic home that I came to realize that Claudia is truly an interestingly oppositional woman. She is gentle yet firm, child-like yet serious, chaotic yet orderly, dark yet joyful. Even herself, Claudia admits that she is always drawn to people who embrace the beauty of being multidimensional and contrary.</p><p><br></p><p>It's safe to say Claudia's life is first and foremost amongst hats and books.&nbsp;Her essays have been published in <a href=\"https://www.theparisreview.org/blog/2018/08/14/mothers-as-makers-of-death/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Paris Review,</em></a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https://believermag.com/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Believer</em></a>&nbsp;alongside many other elegant magazines.
