Why are we still here? Pastor Mike gives a simple answer. God left us here on purpose, to be salt and light and to make a difference. Starting in Matthew 5, he shows the progression: God is light, Jesus is light, and now we are light. He then walks through what light does. It cuts through darkness, guides, reveals truth, and warns of danger ahead. He closes with Paul and Silas praising God at midnight in a Philippian jail. Their praise put a light in front of a jailer who asked, “What must I do to be saved?” This is a call for every believer, not just the clergy, to let their light shine.
