It's been described as brutal. This Saturday, swimmers from around the world will attempt the Ice Mile at the Clontarf Baths. Wearing only hat, togs and goggles they'll push their bodies to the extreme, in water most of us would be uncomfortable holding our hand under. We talk to Fergal Somerville of the Eastern Bay Swim Team to find out more and chat to two swimmers who'll be taking part, Charmian Frend and Nick Hungerford.
