Dave Jones is a promoter and DJ who has been putting on parties and playing at events over the last three decades. Based in South Wales, it was a chance visit to the Hacienda in 1988 that propelled Dave from the football terraces to the dancefloors and DJ booths of UK clubland. Whether he was DJ-ing as a resident for one of the UK's longest running club nights Time Flies, or setting up his own night with a leaning towards the US soulful house sound, Dave has booked and played alongside some of the greats and has some great insight, anecdotes and advice for anyone wanting to follow a similar path. Back on the scene after a break from it all Dave continues to share his passion for the music by playing at events such as Clockwork Orange as well as producing his own podcast - inspired by this very series.
