Licensed clinical psychologist Vincent Greenwood, Ph.D. is here to discuss his book Puppet on a String about U.S. President Donald J. Trump, his own educational background and vast experience in the realms of psychology, cognitive therapy, and human behaviour, how and why he was able to conduct a psychological profile of the president from a distance and without his express consent, the distinctions between the “duty to warn” and “duty to inform” medical standards and which category his book falls under, why Robert D. Hare’s psychopathy checklist-revised is a gold standard measurement tool and what Trump’s results reveal, the Hannibal Lecter connection, how other affliction symptoms Trump seems to present relate to Greenwood’s analysis, whether it’s complicated to be a dispassionate yet sympathetic straight shooter when assessing a political figure, what he hopes this book accomplishes, other future plans, and much more.
