These musics are mainly carried by the diasporas of the former colonies of the Netherlands, like Surinam or the former Dutch Antilles : Curaçao, Aruba and Bonaire.</p><p><br></p><p>Afro-dutch music is the result of a cultural and musical mix based on electronic sounds, Caribbean rhythms and sub-Saharan influences.
