Jeremy Kyle discusses a celebrity who has lost his High Court bid to block reporting of sex abuse allegations. The well-known individual made the 'unprecedented' argument that he would kill himself if the claims went public.
It is claimed that the man, named only as PPT, 'abused his status' to conduct 'inappropriate and exploitative sexual activities' with 'a large number' of women and girls over a number of years.
The celebrity applied for an injunction against ITN and The Guardian newspaper, which said they had interviewed more than 100 people with knowledge of the celebrity's alleged misconduct. Mr Justice Nicklin refused to grant the injunction but ordered that the celebrity should remain anonymous until a later date. The judge said that the risk of the celebrity killing himself was 'genuine, grave and closely connected to the court's decision'.

Texas and South Carolina, which have not voted Democrat in decades, were among the deep-red states that fell, along with North Carolina and Ohio. Democrats also successfully defended vulnerable states including New Hampshire.
Mr Trump will now be unable to pass legislation, or confirm Supreme Court justices or administration figures without Democratic support. It could make a cabinet reshuffle extremely difficult if the president tries to bring in figures who are not already confirmed. Mr Trump and other administration officials are likely to face investigations and possible impeachment.
