He is a Nobel Laureate, former World Bank Chief Economist, and best-selling author. His latest book is <a href=\"https://www.penguin.com.au/books/the-road-to-freedom-9780241703878\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Road to Freedom: Economics and the Good Society</em></a>. He was in Australia for a speaking tour with The Australia Institute.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Mark Kenny</strong> is the Director of the ANU Australian Studies Institute.
