In a career spanning 25 years, he has covered federal politics as the national affairs editor of&nbsp;<em>The Australian</em>&nbsp;and the Chief Political Correspondent of&nbsp;<em>The Australian Financial Review.</em></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Mark Kenny</strong>&nbsp;is a Professor in the ANU Australian Studies Institute.
