This week's Geektown Radio podcast is a special edition from MCM Birmingham Comic-Con, as we interview 'Man In The High Castle' & 'Agents Of Shield' star Jason O’Mara, 'The Walking Dead' & 'Britannia' star David Morrissey, and had a really interesting chat with 'Rogue One' actress Ingvild Deila.
Irish actor Jason O’Mara is probably best known for his roles as Wyatt in Amazon's 'Man In The High Castle' and playing Jeffrey Mace, aka The Patriot in Marvel's 'Agents Of Shield'. He's also popped up in shows such as 'The Good Wife', starred in cruelly cut short sci-fi 'Terra Nova', and is has voiced Bruce Wayne/Batman in a number of WB's animated movies.
David Morrissey is a familiar face to viewers in the UK and around the world having starred as Philip 'The Governor' Blake in 'The Walking Dead', and most recently, as Aulus in Sky Atlantic's 'Britannia'. He starred in 'State of Play', played Gordon Brown in Peter Morgan's 'The Deal', starred as Tobias in 'Extant' and Sam in 'The Missing'. Along with the upcoming 2nd Season of 'Britannia', he is also due to pop up in Amazon's adaptation of 'Good Omens', playing Captain Vincent.
Whilst you might not know the name Ingvild Deila or recognise her face, but if you saw 'Rogue One', you have seen her on screen as she had the small but important role of portraying a young Princess Leia. Ingvild discusses the process which went into bringing the young Carrie Fisher to screen and what it felt like to be a part of the iconic Star Wars franchise.
