On this week's Geektown Radio podcast, I'm joined by Gray to chat through our week in tv, film & gaming, along with all the weekly tv news, renewals and cancellations.
We begin by reviewing the last 7 days in tv, film and gaming. Gray has finally got to the end of 'Invincible', so gives us his thoughts on the series as a whole. He's also finished up the BBC shows 'This Time with Alan Partridge' and 'Inside No 9', so reviews both of them. Meanwhile, I have finished 'The Nevers' and 'Sweet Tooth', so chat through those series finales. I also discuss the opening episode of 'The Handmaid's Tale', and the return of both '9-1-1' series. We also both give an update on our thoughts of 'Loki' as that enters episode two.
In the TV news, we run through the various renewals, cancellations and pickups, which includes another NBC cancellation in 'Manifest'. In the news, we discuss 'The Blacklist' losing a major cast member, ‘NCIS’ possibly getting a new leading man, and Disney+ returning to the live-action 'Beauty and the Beast'.
