His TV work includes <em>‘Casualty’,</em> <em>'Rellik'</em>, <em>'Peep Show'</em>, <em>'The Leftovers'</em> and <em>'Safe House'</em>, whilst his movie projects have seen him appear in Danny Boyle's <em>'The Beach'</em> and <em>'Æon Flux'</em> with Charlize Theron. On stage, he has worked in Royal Shakespeare Company playing roles such as Oswald in <em>'King Lear'</em>, Dumaine in <em>'Love's Labour's Lost'</em>, and Brutus in 'Julius Caesar'.</p><p><br></p><p>His most recent tv role saw him starring as Connor Mason on the time-travelling tv show <em>'Timeless'</em>. Mason was the billionaire creator of the time travel technology, but after the events of season 1, he is left penniless and struggling to find his purpose on the team.</p><p><br></p><p>If you’d like to see Paterson in person, he’s currently starring in <a href=\"https://www.wiltons.org.uk/whatson/420-sancho-an-act-of-remembrance\" target=\"_blank\"><em>'Sancho: An Act of Remembrance'</em> at Wilton's Music Hall, London</a>.
