In this episode I speak with Shane Norte. Shane is part of the Morongo Band of Mission Indians. He started the “Church of the People for Creator and Mother Earth” located in the La Jolla Indian Reservation in Southern California. Shane does healing retreats using Psilocybin mushrooms. He gives all the details on how he conducts a ceremony based in his traditions.
Shane talks about the importance of bringing ceremony and community back into society. He talks about the issues facing native communities and reservations. We also talk about the epidemic of loneliness in society and the need to be there for each other.
