Her Sacred Site is Knock Áine (Áine’s Hill also Knockainey) or Cnoc Áine Sid Clíath or the Sacred Mound of Cliuwhich which is sickle shaped. Near Lough Gur, the oldest complete Stone Circle in Ireland, Áine was also known as the Lady of the Lake. This beautiful place is synonymous with the Summer Solstice when the rising rays shine on key stones of this magnificent circle.
