Almost Canon Podcast--The Paranormal, Crypids and True Horror
The Giant Connection
On this weeks episode we look through the historical record at a handful of giant races and ask the question: "could they be Nephilim?" There certainly seems to be certain traits that these giant races share even though they are often separated by thousands of miles. Could it all be a coincidence? We don't think so. After all, all myths and legends have some sort of truth.
Nick also gives his short review on Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, a video game that was recently released on the PS5 and has some surprising connections to the wolf of Giants and Nephilim.

172. Paranormal News Update #1
01:13:00||Season 1, Ep. 172This week I bring on Christian and we take a look at the news cycle and pull out several of the strangest events recorded by the media. We start by talking about a NASA employee, who tried to break into Area 51 to investigate an anomaly he described as a time dilation and end with Matt Gaetz spilling the beans about Alien/Human hybrids with so much in between!
171. Fae Folk of the Far North
55:44||Season 1, Ep. 171Do fae folk exist outside of Ireland? i know we here at Almost Canon believe they do! So this week were venturing deep into the arctic circle and investigating the stories of the 'Little People', specifically the Arctic Pygmies. We then follow the trail out of the snow and ice and into the mountains where stories of these fae-like beings are still told. We look at whether the vikings battled these pygmies when they landed on the eastern shores 1000 years ago; we look at stories told by high arctic explorers as well as stories told by prospectors and adventures within the Brooks and Mackenzie mountains. We also connect some dots and uncover something at the end that opens the door to way more questions!
170. The Valley of the Headless Men
01:27:05||Season 1, Ep. 170This week we do a deep dive into the Nahanni Valley otherwise known as the Valley of the Headless Men. We look at several different legends from this lost world including why it's called the Valley of the Headless Men as well as the different of cryptids and prehistorical monsters that are said to exist there. We also look into the story behind the White Queen and if there actually is a tropical valley somewhere within the Nahanni and its possible connection to Inner Earth
Fae Fix: The Fae Wood
26:00||Season 1We wanted to make sure you got your Fae fix before the big day next week! listen to Alice tell the story of how her and her sister saw what can only be described as a fae folk watching them from behind a tree in the woods behind their house. This story was taken from our The Fae Wood episode but it remains one of the best fae stories i've ever heard. Its creepy. Its mysterious. It's from my own backyard. And its believable! Also check out the full "The Fae Wood" epiosde for more stories told by Alice!
Recast: The Tuatha Dé Danann
01:40:50||Season 1As my notes ran long as the original episode I was going to drop today I figured id fill the slot with a recast of the Tuatha De Danann part 1 episode I did way back when, so that way we can at least prepare for Saint Patricks Day while we wait for the original episode to drop. The Tuatha De are a great topic to get into when talk about the Watchers or Nephilim due to the fact that these mythical beings from Irish folklore were originally know as the People of God before their name was changed to The People of the Goddess Danu and for the fact that seem to be able to pass between portals and originated from what would essentially be another dimension! So to prep for Saint Patricks day here's part 1 of the Tuatha De's history.
169. The Partridge Creek Monster
45:38||Season 1, Ep. 169This week we head deep into the Yukon, not for gold but for monsters! We take a look at the Partridge Creek Monster story, which is about a hunting party that came face to face with a prehistoric beast, 65 million years old! We also take a look at other living dinosaur and lake monster stories from the north and ask the question: could these be physical projections due to a scientific theory called the 'stone tape theory'?
168. The Ariel School UFO Incident
46:22||Season 1, Ep. 168This week we take a look at the Ariel School UFO incident, which happened in September of 1994. On the morning of September 16th, 1994, 62 children, while playing out at recess, witnessed a mysterious object fall from the sky and land in the field near their playground. What happened from there is something straight out of a Spielberg or Cameron film. Four entities exited the craft and began psychically communicating with the students, showing these 10 years olds, all sorts of images of a dying world. The encounter was heavily investigated and is widely considered to be one of the best documented UFO encounters.
167. Project: Tabaldak and the Bennington Triangle
01:20:18||Season 1, Ep. 167As i was recently on another show, sharing what i know about the Bennington Triangle, I thought it would be a good idea to revisit the Tabaldak Connection, but in a much more refined way. This story is the culmination of a years' worth of research and deals with secret government projects, sleeping Nephilim giants, pre-Columbian contact, cursed mountains and missing people. If you want answers as to what's going on in the Bennington Triangle then this is an episode you won't want to miss!
166. Hunted By A Dogman While Bow Hunting
01:17:41||Season 1, Ep. 166This week we talk with W. Boyd, who came face to face with a dogman one morning, while bow hunting with his father. The two had started their trip by parking in a lot near a piece of property they owned and began walking into the woods. It wasn't long until Boyd began hearing something something them. It would walk when they walked and stopped when they stopped. He pointed this out to his father, who couldn't hear that good, but they continued on to their hunt. But it didn't take long for Boyd to figure out what was following them because it was already at his hunting spot, seemingly waiting there for him! This is one of the best dogman encounters I've heard and the second dogman encounter we've heard where the individual was hunting. So sit back, relax and enjoy tonights episode of Almost Canon
