His online video series What The Old Gays Remember where he analyses iconic moments in pop and queer-coded culture has racked up million of views. He has written for huge stars like Joan Rivers, written and produced the brilliant Hacks and starred in the RuPaul movie Stop That Train. Guy has always loved British humour, which is why coming to the UK with his stand-up show Be Fruitful is a dream come true. Nigel's guest today is Gareth Thomas. Gareth made history as the first active professional rugby player to come out as gay. Nicknamed “Alfie” Gareth excelled in the sport and captained his home country, Wales, on countless occasions. Gareth came out in 2009 and the following year was voted the most influential gay person in the UK. In 2019 he revealed online that he is HIV+ and has campaigned tirelessly since then to end the stigma surrounding the condition with his work at Tackle HIV.
