Join me today as myself and returning guest Dan Grima of the Blindspots podcast chat about a recent ish Indian cinema release with Director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat's Kill. Where During a train trip to New Delhi, a pair of commandos face an army of invading bandits. It's bloody, gory and just a bit depressing.
Dan and I have a great chat about how we interpreted the themes and subtext of this movie, we may have forgotten to get into the action a little bit but we do also talk about podcasting and movies in general so please forgive us while we try to find our way back to our points one rant at a time.

02:26:08||Ep. 90Today we sit down and spend a couple hours talking with Peter Shinkoda. Most recently starring opposite Scott Adkins in Prisoner of War, soon to be sharing the screen with Bob Odenkirk in Normal. Previously you could find him as Dai in Falling Skies, Sektor in Mortal Kombat Legacy and of course, Nobu in Netflix's Daredevil. You can also see him as Ben Takeda on Salvage Marines but we don't really talk about that one. We talk Prisoner of War, being directed by Louis. His experiences in the pandemic, the state of the industry, cultural differences of east and west, his very early work, perfecting accents and random bits in between.
89. Ep89 - American Ninja 2 (1987) with Angel G Brophy
02:05:19||Ep. 89This week on Action Addicts, we’re diving head-first into one of the wildest, most gloriously unhinged entries in the Cannon Films canon: American Ninja 2: The Confrontation. Michael Dudikoff and Steve James return as Armstrong and Jackson, the coolest duo to ever punch their way through an island full of ninjas. We’re talking shadowy crime lords, genetically engineered super-ninjas, beach-bar brawls, shirtless heroics, and that unmistakable Cannon energy that feels like action movie comfort food.We unpack the film’s over-the-top plot, the unmatched chemistry between Dudikoff and James, the escalation from straightforward martial arts to full-on comic-book sci-fi madness, and why this sequel has become a cult favourite for fans who want their action bold, bonkers, and blissfully sincere. Expect talk of weapon-clashing set-pieces, 80s charm, and the simple joy of watching Jackson wipe the floor with entire rooms of bad guys.We also go incredibly off topic so bare with us...Action Addicts Links: https://linktr.ee/actionaddicts
