Ep44 - Red Heat (1988) with Mike Fury

Season 1, Ep. 44

Joining me today we have the former stuntman turned writer Mike Fury! Author of the fantastic Life of Action books. Mike and I had been talking about getting him on the podcast for a while when he suddenly realised that the Walter Hill directed Red Heat is celebrating it's 35th anniversary, the choice suddenly became obvious. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Belushi as mismatched cops from different nations forced to work together on the mean streets of Chicago.

It's the end of the world and only those who made it on to a super advanced high tech train managed to survive the deep freeze. • 68. Ep68 - Ninja 3: The Domination (1984) with Lindsay Wilkins, Bede Jermyn and Super Marcey

    01:16:56||Season 1, Ep. 68
    Joining me today on this very special episode we have returning guests Lindsay Wilkins, Bede Jermyn and Super Marcey. Yes that's right, 3 guests. Meaning 4 voices total to talk about a rather crazy film known as Ninja 3: The Domination. Celebrating it's 40th anniversary and being the finale of ninja month. It's all culminated in a lovely crossover of our themes in the recent episodes. Directed by Sam Firstenberg and starring Sho Kosugi, Lucinda Dickey, Jordan Bennett, and James Hong. This should have been the apex of the Ninja trilogy, instead it went in a very different direction. Is it all the better for it? Listen to find out.Schlock&Awe Twitter: @schlockandawe1Bede's Twitter: @BedeJermynSuper Marcey's Twitter: @supermarceyAction Addicts Links: https://linktr.ee/actionaddicts
