In every inch of the world, hunger strikes have played a significant role in achieving social social and political change. I am fascinated by individuals who are willing to take up such extreme measures for their cause and will explore cases of individuals who have taken part in hunger strikes in this podcast series. Additionally, my main goal is to find out whether, and under what conditions, hunger strikes achieve their intended goal.
