Buffett on the Radio (10-02-2026)

Season 3, Ep. 44
•

HEY, PARROTHEADS!

One of the best parts of doing Buffett on the Radio is getting out from behind the microphone and meeting the artists who are keeping the music—and the spirit—moving forward.

Sometimes, you have to go find the music.

And that’s exactly what I did for this week’s Buffett on the Radio!

Recently, I headed to Old Bust Head Brewing Company in New Baltimore, Virginia, where I caught up with Monallo after their show.

And I think you're going to enjoy this conversation.

We talked about how Monallo came together, the music that drives them, the influence Jimmy Buffett had on their musical journey, and the story behind a band name that might make you scratch your head for a minute.

But most importantly, we talked about why they do what they do—and what it means to take that Buffett-inspired spirit to audiences today.

Of course, we'll hear some of their music, too.

So this week, instead of just telling you about the music…

I'm taking you backstage.
