A Femme Dial

Vivek Shraya

Season 1, Ep. 5

While being a multidisciplinary artist was never the intention, Vivek Shraya has redefined her artistry is many times. With nearly 20-year music career that never quite took off in the way she wanted, Vivek found other creative avenues to explore that offered her a reminder about what she loved about music while also embracing the unsustainability and gatekeeping aspects of the Canadian music industry. In rewriting what success is she has found her stride by creating in more contexts than just music. It's an incredible artistry that only continues to expand.
