Episode 89: How the workplace pendulum is swinging at Braze, DoorDash and Herman Miller

The global pandemic initiated a great swing in the workplace pendulum from traditional office-based, 9–5 work structures to largely remote and hybrid working environments that have changed the workplace forever.   


As we emerge now into a world shaped by the pandemic, with return-to-office strategies front of mind, the pendulum is starting to swing back towards traditional, physical workplaces. Finding the right balance of how to support both remote and in-office work spaces and cultures will enable organizations to rest somewhere in the middle of the pendulum and provide more options and flexibility for when, where and how we will work.

Episode 90: The Decade of Courage – time for workplace change that matters

In this episode of Digital Workplace Impact, Nancy Goebel is joined by Paul Miller, CEO and Founder of DWG, thought leader and co-author of the ground-breaking book Nature of Work. We hear from Paul about the recently released second installment of his Decade of Courage Manifesto.The first Decade of Courage Manifesto, published in 2020, was a brave and bold actions-based document, which acknowledged the major issues that were concerning us pre-pandemic, including climate crisis, injustice, income inequality, and particularly the effects of these on workplaces. Now, in more reflective mode, the second installment of the Manifesto, subtitled The year of change that matters, explores what’s happening in 2021, post-pandemic, including the huge and unexpectedly rapid shifts occurring in work right now.
