He originally trained in his home town of Melbourne Australia as a graphic designer, illustrator and animator, using very traditional artist tools. His passion for visual effects in film and television led him to be one of the first digital artists on the planet creating groundbreaking digital effects and animation for ABC-TV Melbourne and AAV Studios.
