10. Personal Growth - How a mum of two found her freedom in travel and on the water

Ep. 10

In this episode I talk to Alison - a watersports coach who provides training for paddleboarding, kite surfing and team building activities.

Alison walks me through what freedom means to her and how she's worked to find it in her life from being a national waterpolo player in South Africa, to being a nanny and travelling the world with a family, to now being a watersport coach in Dubai.

We also touch on several challenges that have shaped her, how her view of life and the world has changed over the years, and the importance of enjoying what's right in front of us.

And if you want a little laugh we also talk about how bad I was when I first learned to paddleboard with shaking knees while wearing shoes and knee supports.

You can contact Alison, and learn more about her paddleboarding clubs on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/supsistersuae/ and  https://www.instagram.com/supkids.uae

  • 40. 40. Using email automation to communicate, save time and convert customers

    13:03||Ep. 40
    In this episode I share some thoughts on how email automation can be used to support the growth of a business. After spending years creating automations for billion-dollar brands and unravelling the complexities I'm a big fan of email and how automations can be created for different types of communication. I also provide some examples of automations you can create for your business from the follow-up after someone gives you their email address to automated flows for surveys and feedback and structured series to help people understand more about you and your business. Finally I give some thoughts on how email and automations can be set up to help you save time in the long run compared with manual sending, and how they can help you convert customers on autopilot. -- Looking to find more freedom in your life by freeing up time or creating your own online business?  Get 5 free chapters of my bestselling book "Finally Find Freedom" by joining the community at https://www.philipwride.com

  • 38. 38. How focusing on our strengths can lead to earning more and helping more people

    14:51||Ep. 38
    Luck, fate, synchronicity - whatever you want to call it we have the ability to stack the odds in our favour and put ourselves in a better position for success. In this episode I share my thoughts about focusing on our strengths and how they can help us build a bigger and better business, and a bigger and better life. We all have strengths - things that we enjoy doing and that seem quite easy for us or straightforward but that may seem complex or challenging for others. Life is short and we can waste it on trying to improve our weaknesses like the school system encouraged us to do - or we can double down on our strengths and see where they can take us. Finally, I also give some examples from my own experience of how people have encouraged me to focus on something that I didn't class as a strength but has since opened doors and new conversations.   -- Looking to find more freedom in your life by freeing up time or creating your own online business?  Get 5 free chapters of my bestselling book "Finally Find Freedom" by joining the community at https://www.philipwride.com
