Listen Loudly

Welcome to Listen Loudly

When I started out in the fitness industry over 20 years ago, I had the incredible privilege of getting to hone my skills without the global stage of social media—and all the pressures that go with it. Since then, I’ve been through several major career evolutions, including over a decade with Nike and my current position as an instructor with Peloton. As a lifelong athlete, I’ve made it my mission to coach others to reach their own unique fitness goals, wherever the target may be.

Though Listen Loudly is a fresh start, you’ll still hear similar content to what inspired me on Fitness Unfiltered, this time with an even greater focus on learning from others. Through conversation with my dream guests (and some of my best friends!), you’ll learn exactly why it’s so important to listen loudly in order to make yourself heard. Everyone I welcome to my new show is incredible in their own right, and I’m so excited for you to hear the knowledge and experience they have to share.

In this episode, you’ll learn:

  • A little about my old podcast, Fitness Unfiltered, and my decision to rebrand (01:04)
  • How my role at Peloton came to be—and why I almost didn’t take the opportunity (03:57)
  • What you can expect from my guests on this new series (09:12)
  • Why I’ve made it my mission to acknowledge those who don’t feel seen in the world of movement (11:41)

Curiosity. It’s such a no pressure word with so much openness, yet how many of us really embrace it?
