Welcome to the first episode in our series on Ireland's Vanishing Triangle with your host Ciaran McConnell.
The perishable goods in the plastic bag which had been left on a table in a Sandymount apartment, was a clear indicator that something was wrong. Where was 27-year-old American woman Annie McCarrick? For the last 3 decades there have been many leads but unfortunately no success in the search to find out what happened to Annie.
In the first half of this episode Ciaran is joined by regular series contributor Shayne Phelan were they discuss the facts of the case.
In the second half of the episode F.B.I Investigator Kenneth Strange discusses the case with Ciaran. Kenneth has a personal connection with the case. Kenneth Knew Annie who was a friend of his little sister. Kenneth has become involved in the search for Annie at the behest of Nancy McCarrick, Annie’s mother.
