The final report on the McGrail Inquiry is likely to be ready by late spring 2025 - roughly a year since the public hearing. In the latest update on the report's progress, the inquiry team says additional evidence has been received, and that Chairman, Sir Peter Openshaw, continues to work on the draft. Meanwhile the Police Authority has started the process of recruiting a new Commissioner of Police to take over from Richard Ullger when he retires in April 2025. Today is World Diabetes Day - a day observed to increase the awareness of diabetes, a chronic condition that affects millions of people around the world. The World Health Organization and the International Diabetes Federation organise the event, which focuses on diabetes prevention, health risks, and managing and living well with condition. Kayron Pozo, Susan Edwards and Robin Sheppard-Capurro told us their experiences of living with the condition.Gibraltar face San Marino tomorrow in the penultimate game of their UEFA Nations League campaign. Gibraltar beat San Marino 1 nil at home last month, Head Coach Julio Ribas says he can only hope for his team to put on their best performance. WBC Latin Silver Belt champion - Tyrone “El Bombero” Buttigieg made history this weekend by beating Venezuela’s Ernesto Martinez in San Roque. In his first-ever ten-round match, Tyrone’s grit and skill saw him win by unanimous decision. Tyrone brought his belt to Broadcasting House and spoke of his hopes for the future.Jose Mari Ruiz was a spectator at the fight, but also spoke about the rest of the local sport from the weekend.Charity work is an essential aspect of society and plays a major role in helping others and raising awareness. The Isola Foundation, in collaboration with Kusuma Trust Gibraltar, are presenting a series of FREE workshops for Gibraltar-registered charities, providing expert advice and guidance on accounting. We spoke to consultant in Business & Charitable Organisations, JJ Pisharello.Last week, Gib Sams published their annual report, it features a few numbers as well as the charity's mission statement and goals, amongst other things. The charity’s CEO Brenda Cuby broke down the report with us.And, 10 years ago to the day that local rock band 'Dead City Radio' performed live for the first time. It's been a decade of hard drums, electric guitar and booming vocals provided by frontman James Culatto, who reminisced about the band’s milestone and told us how the band will celebrate the milestone this Saturday.
