Carey is in poor form for this Episode. A lot to do with going to Waterville on the Ring of Kerry the weekend before, in the hope for a bit of craic and a session. Didn't work out that way though! However, Henny & Quirky reaped the benefits as he then played a few of the songs he tried down in Waterville...Whiskey, You're the Devil being one of them! The lads catch up on the gigs they played since they last met, discuss Glastonbury Festival and playing for different age groups. Some great chat, laughs, stories and music in between. From Carey, Henny & Quirky @ IT'S ALL MUSIC - THANKS FOR LISTENING!

Henny was away for this one...away gigging with The Hollyz on the French Riviera "Mind You"!He was sorely missed on this episode but the lads are looking forward to having him back & hearing how he got on.So Carey & Quirky were left holding the fort and just about kept the show on the road.Loads of chat about stomp boxes and tips and tricks if you are using one out gigging and also what else could enhance a one man show out gigging every weekend…like trying out a Kazoo for a song!Loads of craic, laughs and music in between. From Carey, Henny & Quirky @ IT'S ALL MUSIC - THANKS FOR LISTENING!

  • 58. Cognitive Decline

    01:07:33
Carey’s recovering from a stag weekend in Kerry, Quirky’s shaking off the after effects of Henry's Birthday party session the weekend before and Henny’s wrecked from all the gigging…but that didn’t stop the lads meeting up for a chat and to play a few songs but with a little more difficultly than usual.Thinking they came away with nothing of worth, the lads were surprised listening back to the chat and were thrilled with how the songs turned out in the end.Gigging in Kerry is mentioned and what it’s like playing for a tourist crowd with Carey giving a demonstration of how he used to interact with a crowd.Mighty chat, craic and laughs with a couple songs thrown in at the end. From Carey, Henny & Quirky @ IT'S ALL MUSIC - THANKS FOR LISTENING!

  • 56. Roger Ryan

    02:25:40
No Carey on this episode unfortunately. He's an awful busy man, in serious high demand - for what...we're not sure but he couldn't meet last week with the result of Henny & Quirky being at a loose end. The mics were in the car, so decided they'd try get an interview with one of East Cork's busiest musicians, a man they've being trying to catch for an interview for a while. They made a last minute call to that man, that man answered...they asked was he free and up for an interview, they said they’d call to him, and he said "come on over, I'm in the shed!"This week's episode see's the lads sit down with East Cork based musician, drummer & percussionist Roger Ryan.Roger welcomes the lads into his music mecca - his safe place, his haven "The Shed", but not just any shed! Walls covered in memorabilia, ticket stubs, posters, pictures, autograph books, musical scrap books, Roger shows the lads the whole lot and gives them an insight into how he got into music from an early age, the bands he's played with through the years and the different musical projects he's been involved in the years gone by and currently to this day.Strap in for this on... a great interview with loads of chat, laughs, stories and music in between. From Carey, Henny & Quirky @ IT'S ALL MUSIC - THANKS FOR LISTENING!
