Dr. Cortney S. Warren is a board-certified clinical psychologist and former tenured associate professor of psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Having won numerous professional awards for her research, Cortney is an expert on addictions, self-deception, romantic relationships, eating pathology, and the practice of psychotherapy from a cross-cultural perspective. Her newest work is a self-help book on love addiction and breakups called Letting Go of Your Ex, scheduled to be published in early 2023.

    On this week's episode, we have the incredible Madhulika Liddle. Madhulika is an author, historian, blogger and film enthusiast. Her first novel The Englishman’s Cameo was launched in October 2009, with a French edition released in 2010 by Editions Philippe Picquier. The Englishman’s Cameo was well received and was followed by The Eighth Guest & Other Muzaffar Jang Mysteries (a collection of short stories), Engraved in Stone, and Crimson City (the latter two novels).Madhulika has written a range of short stories in different genres. Several of these have won awards (including the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association Awards Short Story Competition, for A Morning Swim, in 2003) or have been selected for anthologies. Madhulika's non-fiction writing includes travel writing, humor, and writing on classic cinema. She is the founder of Drama Queen, a Documentary theatre company, that focusses on personal histories & archival absences to extend the idea of theatre to create audacious work. Undocumented narratives, gender in performance, research and iterations around form and process are critical to her performance and pedagogical work. She was artist-in-residence at Art Lab Gnesta, Sweden (2015), and Srishti Institute of Art Design & Technology, Bangalore (2017). Anuja is the co-curator of the international workshop series on Documentary Theatre with her German collaborator––that programmed artists like Boris Nikitin, Rimini Protokoll, Zhao Chuan and Gobsquad. As visiting faculty at Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology since 2016, she leads practice-based pedagogy. In the past, she was programme officer at India Foundation for the Arts, film programmer for Experimenta and India researcher for University of Westminster.
